About the role
What You'll Be Doing
Youll lead, grow, and improve SeatGeeks existing performance marketing team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scaling new & existing performance marketing channels while maintaining high, demonstrable ROI
- Developing and promoting consistent performance goals between channels
- Overseeing the integrity of our measurement and attribution software stack
- With our finance team, forecasting and planning paid marketing expenses and responses
- With our data science team, collaborating on and serving as the primary end user for a sophisticated marketing data warehouse and internal attribution model
- With our business intelligence team, develop centralized data models, reports, and dashboards for use by channel managers, board members, and everyone in between
- With our product and retention teams, optimizing landing screens and user flows to maximize activation rates
Skills
Youre no stranger to technical marketing or to the needs & challenges of a fast-growing marketing team and business. Youve got:
- Deep domain expertise in digital and especially mobile acquisition channels including paid social and search marketing (SEM and SEO)
- An operational understanding of the marketing teams contributions to the business P&L, and sound fiscal judgment
- practical experience with the tools of the trade: ad software (AdWords, Power Editor, etc.), web analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.), mobile attribution (TUNE, Adjust, etc.), and more
- Perceptive analytical skills and fluent use of spreadsheets, SQL, and BI software (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Both very natural and very deliberate organizational and people skills
Experience
Your career to date has bestowed you with not only tactical expertise in several direct response channels, but also a demonstrated record of leading a team and keeping it aligned internally (consistent goals between channels) as well as externally (sane priorities with respect to broader business initiatives). Your resume probably includes:
- Minimum 6 years in performance/digital marketing, especially as part of a modern, high-functioning team with some consideration for native mobile app marketing
- At least a bachelors degree, possibly in quant fields like economics, statistics, etc.
- A foundation of executional marketing roles followed by more recent strategic/leadership roles
